Job Responsibilities:
∎ Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for Assistant Registrar (Academic) under the Registrar's Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
∎
∎ Coordinating with University Grants Commission and Education Ministry for approval the Syllabus and other Academic issues of the University.
∎ Coordinating with various departments regarding all academic issues of the University
∎ Arranging various university's events like seminars, picnics, Academic Council Meeting, Syndicate Meeting and Discipline Committee Meeting etc.
∎ Assisting departments to develop and execute all plans according to design and budget requirements.
∎ Facilitating student's effective course/semester registration and helping the students with registration policies and procedures.
∎ Providing and communicating information from the registrar's office to appropriate individuals and groups as required/requested.
∎ Analyzing, problem solving and resolution of student's disputes as they relate to records and registration.
∎ Collaborating with ICT Wing & Archive and other key resources to support registration and record keeping of the students.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 (Six) years of relevant experience at University level
∎ Working experience as an Assistant Registrar/Deputy Registrar (Academic) at University level will be highly preferable.
∎ Should have sound operating knowledge of MS Packages.
∎ Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills
