Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA and MBA in Supply Chain Management
∎ Skills Required: Communicaiton, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Negotiation Skills, Problem solving and decision making, Purchase/ Procurement

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Foreign procurement, Local Procurement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct market research on available products.
∎ Prepare monthly budget for purchase.
∎ Responsible to purchase the goods at a competitive price.
∎ Implement the purchase policy and follow it strictly.
∎ Maintain regular contacts with the supplier after opening of L/C for ensuring in time shipment of the consignments.
∎ Collect purchase orders and purchase requisitions from concern department.
∎ Collect quotation from vendor & complete price negotiation.
∎ Review & summarize quotations and prices.
∎ Prepare monthly statement and report to management.
∎ Coordinate with concerned department, C&F agents and transport agency after arrival of the consignments at port for ensuring smooth delivery.
∎ Prepare deed of agreements in connection to a series of specific procurement covering a future procurement towards protection of our interest.
∎ Receive materials and delivery challans.
∎ Maintain liaison with expatriate consultants for rendering their services in respect of erection of plants, installation & commissioning of capital machinery and development of production process.
∎ Follow-up and supervise of Banks related matters especially L/C opening, release of shipping documents and payment of import bills etc.
∎ Communicate with insurance company in relation with insurance claim, negotiation of price with international traders, assignment of expatriate consultant, initiating legal measures etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Ability to move anywhere frequently as per requirement.

Salary: Negotiable
