Store Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
∎ Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planned, monitored, and appraising job results.
∎ Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
∎ Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
∎ Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
∎ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
∎ Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
∎ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
∎ Develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue
∎ Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent.
∎ Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
∎ Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning.
∎ Handle complaints from customers.
∎ Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses, and competition.
∎ Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is function-able and presentable.
∎ Make sure all employees adhere to the company's policies and guidelines.
∎ Act as our store's representative and set an example for our staff.
