Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service and planning services.
∎ Manage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as customer sales, order management.
∎ Maintain workplaces safety for Chemical hazards & Flammable Goods.
∎ Supervise the work of logistics schedulers.
∎ Prepare or review specifications and orders for the purchase of safety equipment, ensuring that proper features are present and that items conform to safety standards.
∎ Direct distribution Center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
∎ Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports and customer issues.
∎ Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
∎ Inspect fire suppression systems and portable fire systems to ensure proper working order.
∎ Negotiate transportation rates or services.
∎ Coordinate comprehensive logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse and final disposal of resources.
∎ Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation & warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
∎ Implement improvements to internal and external logistics systems and processes.
∎ Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
∎ Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
∎ Examine credentials, licenses, or permits to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
∎ Collect data regarding potential hazards from new equipment or products linked to green practices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
