Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Outsource compatible price and quality of goods from reliable and dependable supplier and vendors.
∎ Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve quality.
∎ Manage direct procurement processes, including the purchasing or obtaining of raw materials, resources, goods, and services for manufactured goods.
∎ Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management.
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
∎ Diligently maintain accurate monthly purchase records for multiple outlets, ensuring comprehensive tracking of all transactions.
∎ Analyze purchase data to identify trends, forecast future purchasing needs, and optimize inventory levels.
∎ Monitor purchasing costs and implemented strategies to reduce expenses and improve overall profitability.
∎ Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is maintained without overstocking or understocking.
∎ Implement inventory control systems and ensure accuracy of stock records.
∎ Track product movements to ensure that stock is stored and rotated appropriately.
∎ Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods to customers or retail locations.
∎ Assist in forecasting demand based on historical data, market trends, and customer requirements.
