Job Context:
∎ This position is responsible for managing commission and other disbursements including implementation of appropriate internal controls over such disbursements. Management of commission would require assessment of business model, underlying risks and designing appropriate control to mitigate risks, designing reports, review of complex computations for disbursement. The person will also be involved in fund arrangement and disbursement of the same to numerous parties in electronic or other suitable form.
∎ The role would also require him/her to develop/maintain database and perform necessary analysis to drive business/management decision. The very nature of the job will require ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including commercial, technology or even partners like merchants, government agencies, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Appropriateness of proposed business model/campaign, appropriate control design in the context of the underlying business, identification of relevant information and sources of information for computation/ validation of computation
∎ Report design, data-base structure for analysis for management consumption
∎ Regulatory compliance, including taxes, associated with payments.
∎ Reporting of the transactions for internal and external stakeholders
∎ Risk profiling for different types of disbursement and mitigation plan; Design Segregation of duties.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Business/ IT graduate; but exposure to mixed environment would be an added advantage.
∎ For business graduates, professional qualification, with experience with reputed accounting/audit firm is required.
∎ Technical skills: Excel, Access, SQL, VB
