Educational Requirements:
∎ UGC approved degree in Business Administration (preferably Supply Chain, Finance) or in Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage Bangladesh-origin operations to optimize inventory, control freight-spend, consolidate shipments, manage vendors' shipping compliances, ensure timely & compliant product movement to affiliates
∎ Single Point of Contact to vendors, origin 3PLs, forwarders, and carriers to manage complex shipping and documentation processes for all global affiliates
∎ Support global logistics initiatives including projects aimed at cost reduction, lead-time optimization, and/or capitalizing on market changes to our advantage
∎ Provide support and liaison cross-functionally with SSM, Planning, Finance, Commercial, Legal teams
∎ Manage and support data analysis and reporting for global logistics with systems/tools (GTN, SAP data warehouse etc.)
∎ Improve on-time product delivery by monitoring and optimizing past due-in Pos and early deliveries
∎ Transit time management, freight COGS reduction, and driving efficiencies in logistics processes
∎ In charge of carrier and LSP (logistics service provider) performance improvement for Levi's
∎ Participate and have a say in transportation sourcing and service/price negotiations
∎ Manage export shipments irrespective of terms of sale, to ensure time and cost performance against set KPIs for the lane, mode, or service specified
∎ Accountable for management and execution of export shipments from Bangladesh, including mapping the process, quantifying opportunities, documenting, and training stakeholders, as required
∎ Facilitate cross-functional resolution of business process issues; ensure understanding of root cause issues, evaluate potential solutions with key stakeholders, and implement solutions
∎ Collaborate with other Logistics team members to develop stakeholders for opportunities, value propositions, new processes, drive COGS savings and lead-time reductions, new strategic opportunities

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics/Commercial/Supply Chain/Finance preferred
∎ Experience in Textile/RMG/Sourcing/Shipping industry will be given priority
∎ Strong communication skills in English and Bangla (Hindi will be an added advantage).
∎ Good command over MS Office tools
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking with desire to challenge status quo.
∎ Well-versed in maintaining data and compiling reports.
∎ Capable of managing vendors and forwarders, and willing to travel occasionally
∎ Ability to break down problems into smaller components and resolve
