Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
∎ MBA in Supply Chain Management will be an added qualification to be considered.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute procurement plan and strategies for all Engineering Equipment Procurement (Factory Capex, Repair & Maintenance) with best price, credit terms, quality, delivery lead time and return policies for achieving best buy.
∎ Negotiate with suppliers relating to price, credit terms, quality, on time delivery and return policies for achieving best buy.
∎ Ensure availability, right price, and quality in line with the outcome from supply demand process.
∎ Establish and maintain vendor master data of local and foreign suppliers for Engineering Equipment Procurement (Factory Capex, Repair & Maintenance), supplier contract and approval of supplier enlistment to optimize total cost and for future business process in line with procurement policy.
∎ To explore new suppliers, vendors to enhance the product quality & services of Engineering Equipment Procurement (Factory Capex, Repair & Maintenance).
∎ Perform periodic vendor evaluation & vendor audit and take corrective actions based on this to ensure optimum performance.
∎ Work closely with purchasing and procuring processes to ensure that materials and goods are procured, stored and distributed as per predefined policy guidelines.
∎ Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
∎ Implement, adhere and monitor the effectiveness of internal audit related processes and procedures.
∎ Cross functional team management with Finance, Product Management and internal users to provide end to end solution for new products and services.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 34 years
∎ Relevant module of the Supply Chain certification, knowledge of integrated planning system for example SAP, IFS is highly recommended
∎ Negotiation Skill
