  • Experiences : 5-6 years of solid experience in agro-tech industry, Project management or working in an NGO/ development agency in related job.
  • Skills/Knowledge : Planning, strategic thinking, marketing, product development, customer relationship, negotiation and communication to transform ideas into actions.
  • Personal attributes : A leader, dynamic and a visionary person with a strong customer focus approach, sound academic background, analytical ability, highest ethical and professional behavior, practice of faith & good judgment.


Responsibilities & Context:

Rural Services Foundation is a not-for-profit organization mainly focused on renewable energy-based products, appliances & services. Apart from the core area of business, it is engaged in agro-business focusing on agro-tech products like drip irrigation pumps. RSF also wants to expand the drip irrigation pump business along with other agro-tech products in potential areas across the country. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager (Agro-tech) to join our team. This is a key leadership position that plays a pivotal role in driving the technological aspects of our agro-tech business.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Research & propose clean; renewable & sustainable tech-based products & solutions for agro.

  2. Propose and get approval for the pilot project with expected outcome and impact.

  3. Create commercial and scale-up business plan based on pilot success and board / CEO guidance.

  4. Put in place required marketing and communication strategy and plan to attract customers to new ways of doing things for overall good; improved productivity; reduced waste and enhanced earning.

  5. Develop and implement a strategic plan that expands the company`s customer base and ensures a strong presence to achieve the targets.

  6. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for each product/solutions.

  7. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.

  8. Put into place quality assurance processes and systems to ensure products & solutions delivery and perform as committed, and all customer feedback/ input and complaints are attended to on time.

  9. Negotiate commercial and contractual terms & prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to policy & guidelines.

  10. Give required input for policy intervention and formulation.

  11. Build an empowered and passionate technology-driven mindset team to bring significant impact on the agro sector.
