Job Context:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to direct the day-to-day operations for the SSK-Urmee, co-ordinating between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, Food and Beverage service &production and other areas to ensure that excellent standards and customer satisfaction are achieved.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel; this individual manages priorities, while implementing and maintaining the operating policies, procedures and standards consistently. Furthermore, he oversees all staff, ensures safety of company assets and maintains confidential information of the Company. As the Team’s Leader, this position requires skills such as hiring, training, monitoring overall sales, scheduling and evaluating performance of every team, with the goal of continuous improvement in all areas, driving revenue, maximizing profits, and ensuring the highest quality of service to guests.

Job Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of every department of the Hotel to maximize guest’s satisfaction, creating an enjoyable guest experience, and to boost the Company’s profitability.

• To ensure that the hotel maintains a score at least 4 out of 5 in each Review Pro Category.

• To ensure 100% compliance with higher standard at all times, working with the Management team to achieve minimum monthly scores of 70% for Net Promoter Score (NPS), Guest Response Index(GRI), and Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI).

• To direct and coordinate activities with all Operational Managers and aids in formulating and administering organizational policies.

• Reviews and analyses activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

• Reviews and supports Maintenance, IT and Sales to oversee design concepts with fundamental or new technology used for new or existing products, in the context of cost reduction, safety, customer requirements and market growth.
