Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Shipbuilding Technology/Marine Engineering from Bangladesh Institute of Marine Technology, Narayangonj or reputed Polytechnic Institutes.
∎ Knowledge of vessels operations and construction with 3(three)years experience in the related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance of Main Marine Diesel Engines/Marine Diesel Generators.
∎ Disassembly/assembly of Marine Gear Box.
∎ Identify problems in steering system and rectification.
∎ Repair and maintenance carried out as per manual/technical specifications.
∎ Preparation/inspection in Docking/undocking of vessels.
∎ Analyze and synthesize records of the vessels with case study of breakdowns and report to the line/section Manager to ensure the vessels safe operation/utilization with cost effectiveness.
∎ Ability to read the hull plates gauging report when the vessel docked/undocked and changing plates as required considering cost effectiveness.
∎ Firsthand knowledge of vessel's Drawing/Design and able to read/understand vessel's construction or modification in process.
∎ Meets cost standards by preparing cost-benefit analyzes, tracking and reporting expenses.
