Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Provide required assistance to the Glass Container Unit/Glass Lamp Shell Unit for smooth operation /& maintenance, as assigned/planned by the Dept. and reports to concerned Head of Dept. (This is a continuous operation Factory which runs round the clock on 8-hourly 3-shift basis).
∎ Basic Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the Production operations consistently
∎ Check shift-wise manpower attendance as per plan and take action as required.
∎ Ensure proper operational set up of IS machine/Blowing Machine, rectify & eliminate product defects
∎ Check & ensure proper set up Fore-hearth temperatures & firing system
∎ Check & review IS M/C or Blowing M/C's down time report and log book
∎ Take action for Quality Control and Lehr related complains.
∎ Ensure all Maintenance works as per schedule.
∎ Train up the subordinates and maintain team spirit.
∎ Periodic/Occasional duties:
∎ Assist the Head of Dept. in Departmental Goal setting and performance evaluation of the employees periodically
∎ Assist in performing Integrated Management System (IMS) related works.
∎ Any other job as assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age Limits: 30 years (relaxable)
∎ 1 to 2 years' job-experience in continuous operation industrial organization preferred.
∎ Training: Training in Continuous Process Operations manufacturing industry and on relevant field like PLC system will be an added advantage.
∎ Proficiency in Communicative English & Basic Computer Applications along with Good Interpersonal skills.
∎ Knowledge on CAD is essential.
