∎ Possess good communication skills both written and spoken in English.

∎ Strong leadership and inter-personal skills.
∎ 10 years’ experience in a branded hotel/resort in or outside of Bangladesh.
∎ Minimum 3 years in similar position.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To control and monitor the maintenance department of the resort.
∎ Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems and equipment.
∎ To check the components of electrical equipment/ machineries such as HVAC system, Fire Fighting equipment, Generator etc.
∎ To develop test requirements and assist in electrical equipment checkout and startup.
∎ To supervise maintenance of all operational outlets.
∎ To supervise the operators and technicians to ensure preventive maintenance, monthly maintenance, yearly maintenance and overall maintenance. De scaling and de carbonization of boiler etc.
∎ To prepare monthly diesel consumption and checked the monthly electricity consumption and prepare comparative statement for generator running hours and boiler running hours.
∎ To ensure earthing system of engine room and substation.
∎ To maintain the chiller room for central cooling system.
∎ To maintain laundry machinery and hot water services (Boiler).
∎ To maintain and ensure services of lift machine room and lift operations.
∎ Take measures to rationalize electricity and diesel consumption.
∎ Optimize machine uptime and reduce maintenance costs.
∎ Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for timely procurement.
∎ Monitor usage of consumables and ensure cost control.
∎ Other duties will be assigned by the management from time to time.
∎ Job Context
∎ We are currently seeking an Assistant Engineer (HOD) to monitor the operation, maintenance, and repair of resort equipment, tools, and facilities, manage the maintenance staff and ensure that hotel facilities and systems operate properly.
∎ Responsibilities :
