Job Context:
∎ The British American Resource Center is dedicated to enhancing academic resources with a strong focus on visual production. In addition to our existing classroom materials, we aim to expand our offerings to include high-quality audiovisual content. Currently operating a compact production unit, we are seeking an experienced Director of Photography (DoP) to collaborate with our team. The DoP will play a crucial role in elevating our visual content, ensuring it aligns with our academic objectives, and enhancing the overall learning experience for our audience. ∎ As a Director of Photography (DoP) at British American Resource Center, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual style and storytelling of our video projects. You will collaborate closely with the director and production team to capture the desired mood and narrative through lighting, framing, camera movement, and composition. Your expertise in cinematography and your creative vision will be essential in creating cinematic masterpieces.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate on Visual Concept: Work closely with the director to understand the creative vision and aesthetic goals of each project.
∎ Camera Operation: Operate camera equipment, including setting up shots, framing scenes, and adjusting camera settings for optimal image quality.
∎ Lighting: Plan and execute lighting setups to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere for each scene. Utilize a variety of lighting techniques and equipment effectively.
∎ Composition: Ensure that shots are composed in a visually compelling and coherent manner, considering factors such as shot size, camera angles, and movement.
∎ Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest camera and equipment technology. Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise on set.
∎ Post-Production: Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure the seamless transition of footage into the editing process. Review and provide input on color grading and other visual effects.
∎ Budget Management: Manage equipment and resource allocation within budget constraints.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as a Director of Photography on previous film projects.
∎ In-depth knowledge of cinematography techniques, camera equipment, and lighting.
∎ Proficiency with industry-standard camera systems, lenses, and accessories.
∎ Strong creative vision and the ability to work collaboratively with the creative team.
∎ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
∎ Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
∎ Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
∎ A portfolio or reel showcasing your previous cinematography work.

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
