Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary
The Architectural Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising architectural aspects of development projects. The role ensures that projects meet functional, aesthetic, regulatory, budgetary, and schedule requirements from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural concepts and detailed design drawings.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams.
Prepare and review architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Participate in project feasibility studies and site evaluations.
Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
Resolve design and construction-related issues.
Support project budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control activities.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
Maintain project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
Professional registration/licensure preferred.
3–10 years of experience in real estate, property development, or construction projects.
Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM software.
Knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
Understanding of structural and MEP coordination.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with project management tools and documentation systems.
