Position

Agriculture & Gardening Assessor

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct practical and theoretical assessments for trainees in agriculture and gardening.

  • Evaluate trainees' competency in crop cultivation, plant care, irrigation techniques, soil preparation, pest management, and landscape maintenance.

  • Assess trainees' practical skills using industry-recognized competency standards.

  • Observe trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.

  • Prepare assessment reports and maintain accurate records of trainee performance and competency.

  • Assign remarks and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.

  • Ensure all assessment activities comply with company standards, occupational safety guidelines, and industry best practices.

  • Promote sustainable farming techniques, environmental awareness, and safe working practices.

  • Coordinate with the training management team to ensure effective implementation of competency assessment programs.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management related to training and competency assessment.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in agriculture, horticulture, gardening, landscaping, agricultural training, or competency assessment.

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Good knowledge of modern agricultural practices, gardening techniques, and workplace safety.

  • Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and committed to professional excellence.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to work in a multicultural and professional environment.

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Location: Kawla Bazar, Airport, Dhaka

Working Hours

  • 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Five (5) working days per week

  • Weekly Holidays: Friday & Saturday
