Job Context:
∎ "AGM/DGM-Commercial / Supply Chain" For Infinia Group - Chittagong - an associate of S. Alam Group.
∎ Job Location : Chittagong (Corporate Office)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To run the Commercial Department of the Group independently, effectively and efficiently.
∎ Responsible to handle Customs, C&F, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Banking and Export-Import duty and VAT-TAX issues.
∎ Have sound knowledge in Banking System/FOC/Commercial item and H.S. Code(s) for imported goods and customs clearance formalities thereof.
∎ Ensure all logistics activities related to Import & Export, International Correspondence.
∎ Have practical knowledge of Import (Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Chittagong and Dhaka Customs, Bond) and Exports.
∎ Maintain and Handle Export - Import L/C and Export - Import, T.T. Documentation.
∎ Should be well conversant and capable of corresponding/negotiating with Supplier & Agent.
∎ Should have close relation with NBR, Tariff Commission and all Govt. Offices related to job responsibilities.
∎ Communicate with Supplier (Local & Foreign).
∎ Should have well knowledge on Commercial terms.
∎ Should have knowledge of pre-costing and budgeting in favor of business and employer.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-7 years practical experience in the field of Supply Chain or Commercial Department in a senior position in any renowned Textile Mills.
Salary: Negotiable
