∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ MBA in Shipping is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Logistic, Operations
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Shipping
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Looking after all shipping Matters, Vessel Inward Outward Customs/Port formalities
∎ Attending vessels at Anchorage on arrival/sailing,
∎ Crew Sign on/off, MMO/Shipping Office, Port health, Vsl Tax NOC
∎ Dock labor safety office, attending berthing meeting etc.
∎ Look after Customs related documentation,
∎ Oversee the B/E Assessment for Import/Export, out pass, duty payment,
∎ Ensure the Collection of relevant information, Invoice, Bill of Entry, attending to AC/DC/JC for Customs files Processing, Customs Direct Delivery permission and Assist to Jetty Sarkar as and when required.
∎ Ensure attending to all Port related documentation
∎ Ensure Jetty Customs cargo examination, container tracing,
∎ Cargo delivery from Containers, Payment of Jetty charges, Jetty
∎ Delivery formalities, Truck challan endorsement and Jetty gate
∎ Entry etc., Export cargo handling/ stuffing, Off Dock customs
∎ Formalities and assist to Custom Sarkar as and when required.
∎ Monitoring lighter vessel movement
∎ Perform any other logistics related functions
∎ Perform any other activities as per instruction by the Top Management of Head Office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must be from renowned Shipping Lines/Agency and should hold the position as AGM-Operation for at least 03 years in handling all the operations related to Shipping, Port, Customs etc. jetty etc.
∎ Must have the ability to communicate with Bank, C&F agents & Shipping Lines and also has to be aquinted with Custom inward / outward documentations and IGM submitting using custom on line system;
∎ Incumbent must have experience of handling operation of Shipping, Custom & Jetty Sarkar; C & F related functionalities in any company.
∎ Candidates from the local region (Chittagong) would be given priority.
∎ Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
∎ Should be honest, hardworking, enthusiastic, self-motivated;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
∎ Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
∎ Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and English.
