Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to ensure preventive maintenance of boilers, generators & all compressors for undisturbed supply and also take proper plan about inverter, motor, electrical panel board etc.
∎ Ensure all electric connections, cables, switches, sockets etc. are functioning well and are in compliance with all building codes and requirements of Accord Alliance code.
∎ Ensure all fire safety equipment are functioning at all times and are maintained, repaired, replaced on time.
∎ Also be responsible for building maintenance work, including painting, repair, re-plaster work etc. and assist & provide support to all civil engineering related work.
∎ Responsible for maintenance, repair, Installation of all mechanical works for the establishment;
∎ Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs;
∎ Ensure the safety of Visitors and working people through compliance with occupational safety & environment regulation
∎ Responsible for the overall maintenance of the factory for any electrical issues including sub-stations as well as other machinery.
∎ Have to observe boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and make repairs, such as changing burners and tightening pipes and fittings.
∎ Have to troubleshoot the problematic areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts.
∎ Have to ensure safety by monitoring safety equipment, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate steps to suspend operations and repair the problem
∎ Have to ensure optimal and continuous operation of boiler systems by performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary
∎ Have to maintain systems by scheduling regular inspections, cleaning, filter replacement and all other tasks necessary to keep all components performing optimally
∎ Identify and repair or replace malfunctioning components of all machines.
∎ Have to supervise team of assistant operators and mechanics by delegating repair, maintenance and monitoring tasks, scheduling jobs, providing appropriate instruction and giving constructive feedback on performance
∎ Have to gain current knowledge of all applicable safety laws and regulations in order to ensure full compliance at all times
∎ Have to maintain proper documentation/ records of inspections etc.
∎ Ensure the availability of spare parts for machine breakdown & preventive maintenance issues.
∎ Identify & implement various measures to improve the efficiency of the machineries.
∎ Provide utility & maintenance related required support to the production & compliance team.
∎ To be responsible for managing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of company's facilities including maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎
∎ Should have experience in Factory/ Plant/ Facility Management
∎ Willingness to visit factories and market as required which may be located outside of Dhaka
∎ Able to work under stress and pressure.
∎ Must have hands-on experience in maintenance of all kinds of sewing machines, boilers, compressors, pumps, motors and other mechanical and electrical appliances used in a garments factory.
