Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Account Management: Oversee accounts payable to suppliers and account receivable from buyers.
∎ Foreign Banking Operations: Manage transactions with foreign banks, including LCs and remittances, ensuring compliance.
∎ Budget and Reporting: Prepare budgets and generate financial reports for stakeholders.
∎ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and foreign exchange regulations.
∎ Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable to suppliers and accounts receivable from buyers.
∎ Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze operational costs to optimize financial performance.
∎ Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with banks, suppliers, and partners for smooth transactions.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and train the accounting team on financial and banking processes.
∎ Contract Review: Evaluate financial terms in contracts with suppliers, service providers and vendors.
∎ Risk Management: Able to identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency fluctuations, supplier dependencies and bad debt.
∎ Financial Forecasting: Provide financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
