Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from reputed public and private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the routine operation of the water treatment plant & Wastewater treatment plant & monitor and control the treatment processes, adjusting operational parameters as needed to maintain optimal plant performance.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of equipment, instrumentation, and treatment systems to detect and address operational issues promptly and solve as per guideline.
∎ Analyze process data and water quality parameters to assess plant performance and identify areas for improvement and implement on demand.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and local government regulations. (ECR 2023, Sludge management guideline, Wastage management guideline and other guidelines by DOE and relevant govt. authorities.)
∎ Provide technical support and take responsibility for all engineering / technical improvements of the treatment plants.
∎ Prepare documents and checklist for the plant operation and assign jobs to the plant operators and different report preparation.
∎ Up to date knowledge of industry trends and advancement in water / wastewater treatment technologies implementation in water treatment plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven hands-on work experience of 4-6 years in water and wastewater treatment processes.
∎ In-depth knowledge of various water treatment technologies and equipment. Prior experience to MBBR technology.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams. e. Strong commitment to environmental and safety standards.
∎ Familiarity with local government guidelines and regulations pertaining to water, environment, and waste management.
∎ Hands on experience in managing mechanical/ electrical workshops is required.
∎ Hands-on experience in CAD is required.
∎ Previous experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
