• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, preferably in a Japanese or Asian dining environment.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and personal presentation.

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude.

• Present menus and provide detailed information about the restaurant`s dishes, specials, and beverages.

• Make menu recommendations, answer customer inquiries, and accommodate.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure presentation.

• Ensure tables are set up properly and cleared efficiently after service.

• Upsell and recommend IZAKAYA’s signature dishes and Drinks offerings.

• Handle guest complaints or concerns with a calm and professional demeanor, escalating to management when necessary.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and workstations.

• Process customer payments and handle cash or card transactions accurately.

• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination and guest satisfaction.

• Assist in restocking supplies, setting up the dining area, and closing duties.

• Comply with all health and safety regulations during shifts.
