Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review documents: Visa officers review supporting documents, such as financial records, deeds, transcripts, and invitation letters.
∎ Conduct interviews: Visa officers conduct interviews with applicants.
∎ Make decisions: Visa officers make decisions based on immigration laws and policies.
∎ Ensure eligibility: Visa officers ensure that applicants meet legal requirements and eligibility criteriaA visa operations officer may also be responsible for:Recording and maintaining application dataEnsuring accurate and timely data entry into the systemEnsuring the administration and logistics of passport deliveryMaintaining compliance to standard operating procedures and manuals
