Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be fully conversant in and supportive of the School's philosophy and curriculum, uphold and maintain the ethos and aims of the school, positively contribute to its culture, and be a role model for staff.
∎ To monitor the implementation of the curriculum across the grades which will involve assessment and mentoring of the Teachers with respect to their classes and teaching methods which will include reviewing lesson planning and lessons and providing demonstration lessons where appropriate,
∎ To monitor and analyze standardized testing across the school in order to validate the effectiveness of the school program, which will include working with Teachers to monitor the progress of the curriculum and method training.
∎ To report to the Principal on such observations and trends to facilitate improvement of the schools curriculum, teacher and student performance.
∎ To interview and assess prospective SIS students.
∎ Observe and ensure absolute confidentiality of information related to the students, staff, and conduct of the School's operations.
∎ Other duties as directed by the Principal.
∎ Lead the development of the school's vision with focus on shared respectful culture.
∎ Deliver strategic leadership and operational management.
∎ Establish the expectation for all staff to achieve high standards through professional development.
∎ Develop relationships with families and community groups to enrich the school and its value to the wider community.
∎ The position requires a relentless focus on the development of western teaching method and activity based learning.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 ++ years experience in any English medium school in similar position.
∎ Candidates must have school administrative experience, strong English skills, typing / computer skills, Program Development, Teaching/ Training,
∎ Must be capable of running an English medium school independently.
