Job Context:
∎ SBF Nursing Institute,The Sonar Bangla Foundation (SBF) is a USA based non-profit organization/foundation with the goals of establishing health care facilities throughout Bangladesh providing kidney dialysis services and kidney disease screening and treatment, laboratory services, and dialysis bioengineering training and development. SBF aspires to develop world class nursing forces in Bangladesh by educating and training them through Sonar Bangla Foundation Nursing Institute (SBF-NI). The long term goals of SBF are to build a world class research-based university in Bangladesh with state-of-the art medical school and hospital and to contribute to the nation thru education and medical research excellence. The SBF Nursing Institute (SBF-NI) established on January 2019.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Academic:
∎ Ensure efficient management of SBF-NI for effective and dependable education and training of the students.
∎ Assist and ensure necessary education and training of faculties and other employees.
∎ Will have to take responsibility for ensuring qualities of teaching to the learners.
∎ Prepare annual academic calendar for the college.
∎ Visit all sections and classes of SBF-NI daily.
∎ Look after discipline and welfare of SBF NI students.
∎ Ensure the expected standard of education through implementation of syllabus and course curriculum provided by the BNMC.
∎ Be responsible for admission of students in approved courses, students leave and migration.

∎ Administrative:
∎ Vice-Principal is the 2nd Administrative Head of SBF-NI.
∎ Look after the duties, discipline and welfare of all members of the institute.
∎ Will initiate Annual Confidential Report (ACR)/Annual Performance Report (APR) of all Lecturer and Dept. Heads of the institute.
∎ Have to be responsible for placing demand keeping the utility in view, receive, maintain, proper use of all instruments, equipment and other stores of the institute.
∎ Control and oversee the institute in accordance with the rules of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Director General of Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) and Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
∎ Have knowledge to prepare annual budget for Nursing Institute and present it to the Principal and Management/Authority.
∎ Maintain liaison with amongst the Principal, Governing Body/committee of SBF-NI.
∎ Prepare routine & distribute works to all officers as per prevailing rules.
∎ Look after the Nursing Hostel and Canteen.
∎ Follow instructions and assignments given by the Principal and Management from time to time and abide by the rules and regulations of the organizations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Registered with BNMC.
∎ Must be have well in English & Computer skills.
∎ Has the leadership quality to motivate to team members.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary scale after being permanent and other benefits after completing 1 year service period.
