Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate Must have Master degree from any reputable University and any allied discipline;
∎ Minimum 15 years’ experience on teaching, administration or financial management is required;
∎ Candidate must have knowledge in budgeting, financial planning and financial disciplines as per the Private University Act 2010.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ (1) Responsible for financial polices and planning and exercise general supervision of the funds of the University;
∎ (2) Advising Executive Leadership of the University on the liquidity aspects of the University.
∎ (3) Designing and implementing alternative solutions to continue long term financial stability of the University;
∎ (4) Responsible for the preparation of the Annual Accounts and the Budget of the University and for their presentation to the Board of Trustees after they have been considered by the Finance Committee and Syndicate;
∎ (5) Keep a constant watch on the cash and bank balances and investments; and watch the progress of collection of revenue and advise on the methods of collection employed;
∎ (6) Ensure that the registers of properties of the University are maintained properly and that stock checking is conducted of equipments and other materials in the offices of the University;
∎ (7) Ensure that necessary information regarding the financial status of the University is periodically report to the Vice-Chancellor and Board of Trustees;
∎ (8) Responsible for all kinds of audit and its related activities;
∎ (9) Providing guidance and mentoring the Finance and Accounts Department according to the rules-regulations and code of conduct of the University.

Additional Requirements:
∎ • Experience as Treasurer or equivalent will be an advantage;
∎ • Demonstrable leadership is an essential.
