Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Context :
∎ Intraco Group is looking for an Experienced Transport Manager for smooth operation of their Transport management system.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have vast knowledge about vehicle maintenance & ensuring log book, fuel consumption etc.
∎ Planning and controlling transports movement.
∎ Vast knowledge about the procurement of vehicle parts & it’s pricing.
∎ Experience in handling All Type of Vehicles.
∎ Strictly act upon the petrol/diesel filling mechanism approved by the management.
∎ Keep records/ history of drivers and accidents.
∎ Manage and oversee the transportation and logistics services Ensuring that transportation services are cost-effective, efficient and reliable with ensure that Workshop related work.
∎ Maintaining and managing the organization's fleet of vehicles, including maintenance and repairs.
∎ Conduct safety & Security related activities e.g. daily checklist, Conduct and arrange Safety workshop/briefing for driver on monthly basis, Spot Vehicle checking etc.
∎ Daily monitor of vehicle movement and calculation of drivers pay and arrange to pay daily fuel payment through maintaining proper procedures.
∎ Planning and coordinating transportation routes and schedules to meet the organization's needs.Collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders, such as vendors (workshop /transport), customers, and government agencies.
∎ Must have knowledge on documentation related to vehicle management, including service logs, insurance and registration details including Tax Token, Route Permit, Fitness Certification etc. from BRTA time to time.
∎ Keeping up to date with the latest transportation and security technologies and trends.
∎ Any other transportation related job assigns by the management.
