Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL) is looking for experienced dynamic engineers from Mechanical/ Chemical engineering backgrounds. The position is based in its Plant situated in Narayangonj .
∎ BPCL is a Team comprising of BUET & American Engineers with an entrepreneurial vision to bring `Worth to Waste utilizing the business model of `Recover & Recycle in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Effectively operate Extrusion system
∎ Responsible for smooth operations and resolving trouble shooting of the plant
∎ Implementing quality assurance standards for the factory
∎ Taking sample periodically from different stages of production and perform quality test.
∎ Checking for specific quality control parameter (i.e. viscosity, color)
∎ Implement improvements in production process, reduce machine downtime, increase efficiency and improve product yield ratio
∎ Review operating and quality assurance standards, existing policies and procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of the factory quality programs,
∎ Write procedures, improve and monitor inspection processes, install statistical sampling processes and issue corrective action reports
∎ Comply with company policies and procedures
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced in Total Quality Management (TQM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), ISO 9001
∎ Experienced in Extrusion system or Injection Molding or Synthetic Fiber or Large
∎ Chemical manufacturing process
∎ Experienced in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Distributed Control System (DCS) based control systems
∎ Computer literacy essential with focus on Microsoft Office package (E.g.- Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
∎ Good grasp of English in reading & writing
∎ Ability in writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
∎ Ability in effectively presenting information and responding to queries from groups of managers, clients, customers and general public
∎ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
∎ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
∎ Experienced in using laboratory measurement tools and devices related to quality checking
