Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in EEE
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Oracle( OCA/OCP),Linux,Solaris
∎ Training/Trade Course: Server,Backup System,System Security
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Installing and upgrading the Oracle database server and application tools.
∎ Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
∎ Planning for backup, recovery and restore of database.
∎ Generating various reports by querying from database as per need.
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
∎ Create automation for repeating database tasks.
∎ Continuously monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of all database resources; identifies opportunities for improvement and provides recommendations to the Network Coordinator/System Coordinator.
∎ Visit Client side inside and outside of Dhaka when necessary.
∎ Be available for on-call / on-site support as needed.
∎ Any task assigned by Supervisor & Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Basic knowledge in Oracle Database Administration, Configuration, Optimization and Tuning.
∎ Knowledge of SQL and SQL tools is preferable.
∎ PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills.
∎ Ability to work to tight deadlines & under pressure.
∎ Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
∎ Good communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.
