∎ Key responsibilities
∎ In the role of Terminal Planning Supervisor, you will report to the Marine Operations Manager. The position will be based in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
∎ Your area of responsibility are:
∎ • Ensures optimization of container handling in Bangladesh Ports, while considering capacity, safety, and efficiency of ship operation.
∎ • Ensures synchronization of container operations sequence from port and Depots through close coordination with both port and depots operator.
∎ • Ensures to support any Logistic & Service opportunity by providing integrated business solutions to customers requirement.
∎ • Ensures regular monitoring and Cost reporting for performance transparency and compliance.
∎ • Ensures performance monitoring and reporting to overseas office.
∎ • Ability to interpret the direction from Center, then plan and implement it locally.
∎ We are looking for
∎ Our future Terminal Planning Supervisor should come with 3 years of operations and logistic experience. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field. Candidates with good skills in MS Excel and MS Access will be considered as an added qualification.
∎ It is important that you thrive with a variety of tasks and understand to keep a good overview, even when things get busy. A natural problem-solving strength, using data analysis skillset, and combined with curiosity & ability to understand the operational/logistical challenges and ability to transform these into business solutions will help you grow in this role.
∎ You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that improve your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and through your strong planning and structural solutions, you shall get your work done in a timely and effective manner.
