Additional Requirements:

• Age At most 35 years

• Minimum SSC Pass required.

• Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in the reputed hospitality industry or group of companies.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and practices.

• Workable knowledge on English both oral and written.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.

•  Assemble and install water heaters, sinks, toilets, faucets, and other plumbing-related appliances.

•  Diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, or equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs promptly.

•  Respond to emergency plumbing situations to minimize downtime and inconvenience to guests. 

• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

•  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards. 

• Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure seamless operations. 

• Communicate effectively with hotel management regarding repair schedules and any major plumbing concerns. 

• Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks. 

• Monitor plumbing supplies and tools, and report to management when inventory needs replenishment. 

• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience.

•  Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems. 

• Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality. 

• Attends work on time and as scheduled. 

• Follows hotel grooming, hygiene and dress standards. 

• Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures. 

• Keeps immediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

•  Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position. 

• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote co-operative and harmonious working climate. 

• Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.

• Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment. Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers. 

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and Fire life and safety operating systems.
