Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Set up and maintain diagnostic equipment, such as endoscopy machines, imaging devices, and other tools used in gastroenterological procedures.
∎ Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.
∎ Assist gastroenterologists during procedures like endoscopies, colonoscopies, or sigmoidoscopies.
∎ Hand instruments and supplies to the physician as needed.
∎ Monitor and support patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
