We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Technical Supervisor/Advisor (Production/Operation/Engineering), Bashundhara Chemical Industries Ltd., BIEZL, Mirsharai, Chattogram.
∎ Responsible for performing for entire factory operations- Production, EHS, Planning & Quality Control, Maintenance Operations, Projects, Process Improvements, Technical Services. Follows all quality procedures, safety regulations, and policies as set forth by the company. Ensures company strategies are followed and goals are successfully met.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Production & Operation:
∎ Overseeing production related tasks including planning, procurement, control & trouble shooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules.
∎ Independently Lead and manage a Chemical Project / Heavy Industries for the site from conceptualization to erection, installation, commissioning, performance guarantee test including monitoring and controlling of projects.
∎ Preparing & implementing Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
∎ Implementation of all applicable quality standards.
∎ Implementing cost saving measures to achieve substantial reduction in terms of production, raw materials, manpower and machine utilisation.
∎ Managing inventory control. Resourceful at strategizing techniques for maximum utilization of manpower/machinery.
∎ Responsible for cost reduction, data analysis, troubleshooting.
∎ Implementing systems, processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall operations, enhance operational efficiency and cost optimization.
∎ Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
∎ Process Engineering:
∎ Driving process improvement strategy and ensure maximum efficiency in various operations.
∎ Overseeing the performance of subordinates, training, mentoring/motivating them to improve their contribution levels.
∎ Ensuring compliance to quality standards & maintaining all related documents.
∎ People Leadership:
∎ Identifying deficiencies in the Operation / Production / Business system
∎ Demonstrate leadership, communication proficiency, decision making, problem solving and analysis, financial management, and business acumen.
∎ Complaints resolution
∎ Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of an organization.
∎ EHS & Liaising:
∎ Undertaking regular inspections to prevent accidents and adhere to safety norms
∎ Quality and EHS audits of customers as well as technical support to customers
∎ Preparation of MIS report and presentation in Divisional Functional Committee.
∎ Ensure imparting of technical training and creating a good environment at the site to allow the workforce to work motivated and to reduce attrition & improve productivity.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants must have experience in operation of Chemical Plant particularly at Hydrogen Per Oxide (H2O2), Acetic acid, Methanol, Formic acid, Formaldehyde etc.
∎ Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
∎ Well organized and time managements skills to meet the deadlines
∎ Ability to under pressure and if needed long hours to complete the task
∎ Must have proficiency in computer on MS office, AutoCAD, MS project, interne, email etc.
∎ Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English & Bangla.
∎ The ability to multitask.
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision making.
∎ Experience in ISO and FDA quality and standards preferred.
∎ Proven track record of success in implementing programs
