Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Summary: The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of technical projects. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects to ensure they are completed successfully. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
∎ Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Monitor and track project progress, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
∎ Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects. Proven experience in managing software development projects. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Excellent knowledge of Jira· Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts. Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
∎ Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based projects and technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
