Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibilities
∎ * Lead and manage the Landside Transportation & local Procurement team.
∎ * Develop, motivate & guide the team members.
∎ * Manage cargo/container domestic movements by trucks, trailers, barges, etc.
∎ * Supervise day to day activities of Landside Transportation team.
∎ * Arrange to collect buy rates & publish sell rates time to time.
∎ * Ensure Landside Transportation Product profitability and maintain its P&L.
∎ * Improvise & standardize Landside Transportation processes.
∎ * Ensure achieving operational KPIs.
∎ * Communicate & meet physically & virtually with relevant internal & external stakeholders, vendors, C&F Agents, Port/Custom officials, etc. as per requirement.
∎ * Arrange to communicate periodical forecast, move-plans, dispute invoices, claims & operational issues with various parties.
∎ * Ensure all required HSSE & Compliance requirement are followed during operations.
∎ * Arrange record keeping of necessary data, statistics & documents and provide various periodical reports as per requirement.
∎ * Facilitate & join in site visits of internal & external visitors as & when required.
∎ * Look after ad-hoc tasks & projects as assigned time to time.
∎ We are looking for
∎ • Minimum Graduation from any recognized university.
∎ • Minimum 3 years work experience in logistics industry.
∎ • Fluent in English & good communication skills.
∎ • Good skill in MS Office applications.
∎ • Good inter-personal & leadership skills.
