∎ Bachelor/Masters in the respective discipline from any renowned university. (O’ and A’ Levels background and B.Ed./CIDTT/CELTA trained candidates are preferable.)
Job Context:
∎ The school is a British Council partner school. It is accredited by Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment International Education, UK.
∎ Primary Section English and Mathematics Teacher
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The successful applicant will be expected to participate actively and contribute to learning and development.
∎ Should be able to facilitate graded learning in the classrooms.
∎ Should be able to speak, understand and write accurate English.
∎ They should be able to facilitate a safe learning environment where students can explore concepts and apply them to real-life situations.
∎ Should be able to facilitate classes using inquiry-based teaching strategies
∎ Must know effective classroom management strategies.
∎ Should be able to generate and mark assessments that accurately determine students’ performance.
∎ Must be able to prepare detailed lesson plans relevant to specifications.
∎ Be creative, energetic, and passionate about teaching young learners.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have a pleasant personality having a positive mindset to embrace teaching as the career pathway.
∎ Must be the role model for the learners.
∎ Must be open-minded to learn new teaching methods and techniques and follow accordingly.
∎ Must be active and cooperative in team building and teamwork.
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience in teaching in English Medium schools.
Salary:
∎ Competitive salary depending on qualification & experience (Negotiable).
