Candidates who fulfill the following requirements will be given preference:
2-5 years of prior teaching experience preferred (preferably in secondary classes, National Curriculum)
Experience in SSC-Level exam preparation is an advantage.
Strong command over the subject matter, including updated knowledge of the syllabus.
Understanding of the SSC exam format, making schemes, and common student difficulties.
Awareness of curriculum changes and the ability to adapt teaching materials accordingly.
Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla
Be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and doing research work on the Internet
Computer literacy: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Classroom, etc.
Designing educational games, craft activities, etc
Willing to travel both in and out of Dhaka for training/conference purposes
Preference may be given to a candidate who is currently residing in or near the Bashundhara residential area/ Vhatara/ Badda, with a strong desire to act for the underprivileged children of Bangladesh.
Responsibilities & Context:
Teacher (Class 9 & 10 NCTB curriculum)
- Reporting to: Head Teacher
- 5 days a week (Sunday - Thursday), Occasional Saturdays
- Timing: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Minimum 2-years teaching contract
