∎ Bachelors or Master's degree in environmental science/Engineering or MBA degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to BPCL's carbon reduction goal and circular economy effort. Assess BPCL's Environmental and Social Impact on society. Publish quarterly BPCL's impact report.
∎ Work closely with the waste pickers and small vangari shops to develop creative solutions for enhancing their plastic waste collection and recycling efficiency in a costeffective way.
∎ Develop a social engagement program to improve the life of waste pickers by helping them to get a better value for their collectibles.
∎ Analyze client's current waste and recycling programs, develop cost/benefit analyses to lower cost and improve resource recovery effectiveness
∎ Develop, implement, and monitor organizational environmental strategies and enhance environmental programs (i.e. improve plastic waste collection, prevention of ocean plastic)
∎ Continue to enhance program for collection & recycling of plastic waste to ensure recycling % increase and continue to look for program efficiencies to drive down cost.
∎ Liaise with Logistics and Supply Chain, Procurement to improve plastic waste collection & recycling rate and decrease costs.
∎ Develops strategic communication plans and coordinates communication efforts required for the successful rollout of company sustainability initiatives, programs and campaigns.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience.
∎ Must have Strong English writing skills and presentation skills
∎ Passion for sustainability, especially waste reduction, recycling, and materials management.
∎ Knowledge of recycling industry and supply chain.
