Job Context:

UNITEX Group is an emerging large conglomerate with a lot of projects in the pipelines across diversified industry such as consumer goods, steel, petroleum, LPG, Agri business, jute and so on.
∎ Job Location: Corporate Office, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select appropriate sourcing options by analyzing, evaluating, and assessing financial data, technical specifications as applicable, industry benchmarking and engaging with the internal functional experts for their robust inputs.
∎ Monitor all kinds of purchase orders, entire purchase cycle and keep proper documentations in accordance with the policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure development and executions of standard policies and procedures for purchase operation in line with the SCM best practices.
∎ Analyze trends in vendor pricing and business activity to assess present and future market situation to determine appropriate timing of purchase which ensures the most optimum deal.
∎ Develop and manage relationships with the key suppliers to ensure effective and efficient procurement process.
∎ Assess the comparative statement (CS) with robust inputs (where applicable) from the internal functional experts and assist management to select the vendor(s) by ensuring the best possible purchase deal in terms of quality and quantity of products and service level.
∎ Ensure solid reasoning for any competition waiver for any product/service from the internal functional experts with an approval from Head of Department to ensure transparency of the purchase process and maintaining of record for any potential internal or external audit query.
∎ Ensure similar approach as depicted above in case of competition waiver for any conscious decision of selecting any vendor who is not the lowest in pricing but being recommended form the user department.
∎ Develop a standard evaluation process for all key vendors for the key products and services by active engagement from all internal stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have minimum 7-8 years of experience in FMCG industry.
∎ Applicants with SCM Professional Certifications like CSCM will get preference.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
∎ Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
