∎ B.Sc in Civil engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Only the Subcontracts Manager may sign letters to Subcontractors
∎ Perform contract risk assessment and claims avoidance planning
∎ Develop the project contracting plan and ensure approval
∎ Prepare schedule for RFP / Contracts development
∎ Coordinate contracting effort with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, and other disciplines
∎ Develop the project numbering system for RFPs and Contracts and maintain log
∎ Establish the Contract Management filing system for the project
∎ Develop and obtain approval of project-specific terms and conditions as necessary
∎ Set up the contract management reference system on the project
∎ Control contract management forms and make them available to the project team
∎ Perform per-qualification of Contractors
∎ During RFP preparation and issue, Identify the technical and commercial portion of the RFP package
∎ Assemble the RFP package
∎ Distribute the draft RFP and hold review meeting
∎ Provide bid clarification and expedite bidder proposals as necessary
∎ Bid Evaluation and Award - Receive, open, and distribute proposals
∎ Perform technical and/or commercial evaluation of bids
∎ Prepare Bid Summary and make award recommendation
∎ Obtain formal approval of the Bid Summary and Award Recommendation
∎ Notify bidders of award recommendation
∎ Update the technical and commercial aspects of the contract package as necessary
∎ Issue contract package for final review
