Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from any reputed medical college with BMDC registration
∎ Candidates having working experience in community- and/or hospital-based research will be given preference
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communications Skilled in MS Office and Excel software.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsible for implementation and management of the study activities both in community and hospital settings
∎ Management of sick under five children at upazila health complex
∎ Assess young infant (0-59 days) for enrolment if clinically suspected as "Possible Serious Bacterial Infection (PSBI)" and follow study procedures stipulated in SOP
∎ Assess sick children referred by Community Health Workers (CHWs) either at hospital or at home (for referral failure cases) and record lung sounds using a digital stethoscope
∎ After receiving training, perform lung function tests for enrolled children as per the study protocol
∎ Supervise lab team for collection, storage and transportation of study samples maintaining standard operating procedure
∎ Quality assurance of child assessments done by the CHWs by direct observation and by independent assessment of children at home
∎ Maintain liaison with hospital authorities for smooth implementation of the study
∎ Maintain study documentation, prepare and share regular and on demand study reports
∎ Ensure management of study logistics working with the logistics assistant
∎ Liaise with other project staff and provide support to them as and when required
∎ Execute any other activities assigned by supervisors.
Salary: Tk. 52790 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Taka 52,790 per month. 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
