Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities – SIC (Store In-Charge)

• Ensure adequate stock availability and maintain accurate inventory records at the depot.

• Maintain proper housekeeping, product display, stacking, FIFO compliance, and store security.

• Supervise store assistants, labourers, and product handling to minimize damage.

• Monitor daily stock conditions, dealer damage claims, factory transfers, and pending, short, or excess stock.

• Coordinate with factory, Head Office, DIC, sales teams, and dealers regarding stock and delivery requirements.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory, damage, slow-moving, non-moving, and other operational reports.

• Conduct regular stock counting, inventory reconciliation, and quarterly and annual physical inventories.

• Ensure proper documentation, software updates, and safe custody of inventory records.

• Coordinate with store personnel, drivers, and helpers to ensure safe product handling and smooth depot operations.

• Act as Depot In-Charge in the absence of the DIC when assigned by management.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
