Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead backend development, with a focus on real-time features using WebSockets.
∎ Design and implement APIs and services using Django and Django Rest Framework.
∎ Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure applications, particularly for real-time systems.
∎ Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
∎ Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
∎ Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate user interfaces with backend systems.
∎ Mentor junior developers, contributing to the growth of the development team.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Django, WebSockets, and related technologies.
∎ Proven experience of 5+ years as a Django Developer, with a strong background in real-time communication.
∎ Expertise in Django, Django Rest Framework, and WebSockets for real-time features.
∎ Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
∎ Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
∎ Experience with Docker, Celery, Redis, and other relevant technologies.
∎ Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, especially in real-time communication scenarios.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
∎ Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
∎ Experience with GitHub, working with Jira in an Agile/Scrum environment.
∎ As a Senior WebSocket Developer, you will lead the development of backend systems, focusing on real-time communication and scalability using Django. You will play a critical role in building a Chat, Task, Calendar, Booking Management, Fleet Management, etc micro-services application, ensuring seamless integration with WebSockets and APIs for real-time communication. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure timely feature releases and high-quality solutions.
