Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analyze project requirements and conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability.
∎ Architect and design scalable web applications with a focus on performance and security.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
∎ Develop and maintain PHP applications, primarily using Laravel; familiarity with CakePHP is a plus.
∎ Implement and secure APIs, ensuring protection against common web vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection.
∎ Apply advanced web security practices, including encryption techniques and secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
∎ Conduct performance tuning, profiling, and benchmarking to enhance application efficiency.
∎ Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
∎ Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and apply best practices for database design and optimization; exposure to NoSQL databases is advantageous.
∎ Develop front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, or VueJS considered a plus.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing mentorship to junior engineers to enhance team performance.
∎ Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing, including unit tests.
∎ Deliver high-quality, bug-free software solutions that integrate seamlessly within larger system architectures.
∎ Stay current with emerging technologies and adapt to changes to continuously improve development processes.
