Job Context:
∎ Ship Building and Repair PVT LTD, vessels are built on a foundation of quality. We build all types of inland and sea going vessels, all categories of dredger, repair and maintenance of all types of water crafts. We have technical expertise for ship building industries.
∎ We are seeking a dynamic, innovate and cultured individual that has the experience managing senior level relationships and perform General Management function of repair, ship Build, and conversion work of vessel until the successful completion of the vessels and successful handover to the customer on time, budget and to the highest quality and standards. He has to ability work with class societies.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To plan, organize, direct and control the company's resources to ensure all activities are managed effectively to meet customer's requirements on time.
∎ To ensure through personal leadership that all aspects of the works are carried out safely and in compliance to all regulations and policies.
∎ To lead and execute all business development and commercial activities of the shipyard and perform business management functions.
∎ Issue and update business plans promptly.
∎ Ensure business profitability as per business requirements set by the organization Management
∎ Conduct meetings and coordinate all activities to ensure safety and quality of work on board.
∎ Approve the sub-contract work based on recommendations by depts.
∎ Conduct progress meetings and review work schedules.
∎ Prepare and update worklist for endorsement by the Management.
∎ Ensure timely submission of client and Company Reports.
∎ Ensure endorsement of Vessel Acceptance Certificate by Owner's upon ship delivery.
∎ Manage monthly business development functions and business management functions.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and ultimately business growth.
∎ Negotiating ongoing contracts with suppliers and customers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent Command in MS Office applications.
∎ Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking.
∎ Should be proactive, innovative and energetic.
∎ Strong communication & Interpersonal skills.
∎ Working under pressure.
∎ Ability work with class societies.
