Job Responsibilities:
∎ Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
∎ Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
∎ Determine the message the design should portray
∎ Create images that identify a product or convey a message
∎ Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, social media and websites
∎ Present the design to clients or the art director
∎ Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
∎ Review designs for errors before publishing them
∎ Working and collaborating with art directors, copywriters, photographers and other designers
∎ Adhering to a client's brand identity and guidelines
∎ Working with external departments to extend concept and visuals to other internal and external marketing-related material.
∎ Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 36 years
∎ A strong eye for visual composition.
∎ Be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas.
∎ Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
∎ Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic.
∎ Good communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to clients and team members.
∎ Be a skilled user of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
∎ Mindful of client's needs and the time and costs associated with what you will be delivering.
∎ Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver.
