Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and interpret drawings (finishes, fit out) finishing schedules, door window schedule and other coordinated drawings and schedules.
∎ Be able to use instruments, auto level instruments, lasers.
∎ Ensure works are carried out as per the GFC drawings and specification.
∎ Maintain records, site diary, quality assurance documentation, reports and records.
∎ Provide as built information.
∎ Ensure gangs/manpower are working correctly, implement and maintain permit to work at site, hot works and confined zones, work at night etc. other relevant permits. Assist/have responsibility for the Health and Safety matters on site.
∎ Communicate with the Site coordinator/Project manager and rest of the site team and assist in organizing the site execution in manner to achieve the desired progress of works, this would include forecasting of materials / plant required, material requisitions (monthly, one- time, quarterly etc.) and sub-contract management.
∎ Be able to attend meetings/deal with the sub-contractor/suppliers/inspectors if the QAQC manager/Project manager cannot attend.
∎ Be a point of contact for site supervisors/junior engineers and sub-contractors to assist with the progression of works and carry out any inspections required with any required party.
∎ Assist with inputs information/durations to programme of works.
∎ Preparing Work Method Statements and risk assessments.
∎ Be able to organize labor/ sub-contractors / plants / materials to achieve programme dates.
∎ Ensure all Health and Safety matters are carried out/completed and maintained.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Completed at least 1 similar kind of project as finishing/fit out engineer, 4 years degree course in civil with 6-7 years' work experience.
∎ Be able to use instruments, auto level instruments, lasers.
