Proficient in Time Study, Method Study, SMV Calculation, and Operation Breakdown
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (basic)
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and IE-related software (like GSD, Pro SMV)
Excellent skills in line balancing, capacity planning, and machine layout
The candidate must have required technical and management knowledge.
Experience in handling large production floors and fast-paced styles
The candidate has to have strong leadership, decision making & problem-solving capacity.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard minute values (SMV) and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor production targets, workflow, manpower utilization, and machine efficiency.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare operation bulletins, process layouts, and manpower requirements for new products.
- Analyze production capacity and recommend strategies to improve output and efficiency.
- Monitor material utilization, production costs, and resource optimization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE performance reports and KPI analyses.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, buyer requirements, and company procedures.
- Lead and support the IE team in achieving production and efficiency targets.
