Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Secure timely purchase of all CAPEX materials as per approved requisitions, ensuring due diligence and adherence to company guidelines.
∎ Negotiate and execute cost-effective purchases, prioritizing both quality and value for money, for both spot and bid purchases.
∎ Convert spot purchases for regular and irregular consumables and spares into planned procurement through appropriate channels, ensuring due diligence.
∎ Maintain accurate and timely updates within the ERP system for assigned responsibilities, and prepare purchase bills/invoices for submission to accounts.
∎ Collaborate with the accounts department to ensure on-time payments, manage the payment register, and maintain accurate cash purchase records.
∎ Organize and maintain purchase data in registers and related files for easy access and reference.
∎ Conduct market research and source competitive products with superior quality and value for our CAPEX needs.
∎ Collaborate with project execution stakeholders to ensure on-time project completion, proactively addressing any procurement-related challenges.
∎ Organize and maintain comprehensive documentation and records, including traveling to banks or government offices when necessary.
∎ Procure emergency spares, maintenance items, and event-related products as required.
