Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Prepress Executive with extensive experience in packaging prepress to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in packaging prepress, with strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator and ArtiosCAD. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who understands packaging structures, print requirements, and production workflows to ensure files are prepared accurately for high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and finalize packaging artwork for production.
Work extensively with Adobe Illustrator to create and edit packaging artwork, dielines, and layouts.
Use ArtiosCAD to develop, modify, and verify packaging structures and dielines.
Perform thorough preflight checks to ensure files meet print and production specifications.
Ensure proper color management, trapping, bleed, and other technical requirements for printing.
Collaborate with designers, structural engineers, and production teams to resolve artwork or structural issues.
Optimize files for efficient printing and finishing processes.
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and packaging standards.
Troubleshoot prepress issues and recommend workflow improvements.
